Women entrepreneurs from smaller districts trained.
June – July 2017.
Training for Women Entrepreneurs was a subgrant from a larger project that Oxfam Pakistan implemented, CSED provided training to active women entrepreneurs on the challenge of market connectivity, and removing the role of the middlemen/agents between their products/services and the customers.
Oxfam selected the top-performing beneficiaries of their project, and brought them to Islamabad in a total of nine groups. We undertook the final round of practical training for the beneficiaries, and enabled them with market-oriented and practical subjects.
CSED also assisted in arranging the closing ceremony that marked the launching of a network comprising of the active and key women entrepreneurs in the project districts.
