ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Federally-registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance-1984, the Center for Social Education and Development (CSED/Center) is a nonprofit organization. Based in Islamabad, CSED was incorporated in January 2015, and was licensed to operate in January 2016.
The Center has also been accredited by the Pakistan Center for Philanthropy as a “Credible Nonprofit.” We are also QCR-audited by a Certified Public Accountant.
CSED has the ability to operate across Pakistan via the networks of partners and associates.
The mission statement of the CSED is:
“The Center shall empower Pakistanis to understand the inevitability of peace, democratic values, and economic development as the only avenues toward a holistic national progress, and an honorable status of Pakistan in the world.”
The Center promotes social cohesion, provides professional development trainings and builds efficient microenterprises, creates safe public spaces for dialogue and cultural expressions, and engages communities to communicate on important social issues.
