Building peace in post-conflict scenario in Swat.

Aahung (pilot project) was a pilot project funded by the Norwegian Church Aid, Pakistan Country Office, Islamabad, with the objective to understand the local sensitives, social fabric and assess the level of cooperation from the academia and the local government officials for building social cohesion and countering violent extremism.

The findings of the project laid solid and learned foundations for the abovementioned project Aahung that was later funded by the US Embassy, Islamabad.

Aahung (Pilot) worked in Mingora and Haripur districts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, and engaged with academia, local leaders, government officials, clergy and the nongovernment communities.
